Jon and Cassie Morgan
Jon and Cassie Morgan founded Families Outreach in January of 2011. Jon works officially as the Director, and while Cassie doesn’t have an official title, she serves as a vital part of the staff. Jon has his Master of Divinity from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. In addition to their other responsibilities, Jon and Cassie share one very important role as the parents to five beautiful children.
Whenever they get the opportunity, Jon and Cassie love to travel. If they aren’t traveling, they are most likely enjoying a cup of coffee and a good book. Jon can be found watching soccer and baseball, especially if the Cardinals are playing. Cassie enjoys cooking—and everyone around her enjoys her cooking too. If all of that sounded peaceful and relaxing, remember to add five energetic little kids into your mental image!
Martha Edmondson came to work for Families Outreach in May of 2013 as the Director of Mobilization. Martha is married to Will and they have one little girl named Ally Kate. Martha has been working in ministry for over 7 years now. She has worked in the local church in various areas and also served overseas in India for two years.
Over the years, God has developed a deep burden in Martha’s heart for the nations. She loves missions, travelling, and helping other people see God’s heart for the broken, lost, and abandoned. She has a great desire to take the gospel to those who have never heard. She is also very passionate about adoption and believes every child deserves a forever family and hopes to add to their family through adoption one day.
When she gets a chance to relax, Martha loves spending time with her friends and family. She also loves any kind of competition, especially sports! A typical weekend at the Edmondson’s probably would include working in the yard, playing board games, watching a movie, and discussing the latest sporting event on TV.
